摘要

This study focused on the trends and fluctuations of renewable energy projects for net zero goals, concentrating on sector-wise funding sanctions, funding distribution, and capacity additions in India. To understand the investment patterns and outcomes in various renewable energyRenewable energy projects of Wind power, Hydropower, Biomass, and Solar, 2007–2023 data were assessed. The study found that IREDA is pumping extreme investments in solar renewable energy projects instead of hydro and biomass projects. Capacity addition in solar and wind projects establishes momentous growth in employing renewable energyRenewable energy infrastructure. This emphasizes the potential of the renewable energy sector to combat environmental change and initiate net zero goals. The study needs strategic investment distribution, cognizant policy preparation, effective risk management approaches, and extensive project preparation, embracing technology implementation, encouraging partnerships, collaborations, and stakeholders’ engagement. These inferences guide management involvement in renewable energyRenewable energy policy development and financial decision-making to attain environmentally sustainable initiatives.
