Embracing Environmental Sustainability by Resilient Net Zero Carbon Supply Chains: A Fuzzy AHP Approach

In light of growing climate change and global warming, it is now imperative for organizations worldwide to implement net zero carbon supply chain (NZCSC) practices in order to achieve carbon neutrality. Therefore, in order to assist the stakeholders, it is critical to identify the obstacles to the implementation of resilient NZCSC. As climate change and global warming escalate, organizations worldwide are increasingly prioritizing the implementation of net-zero carbon supply chain (NZCSC) practices. Identifying the barriers to implementing resilient NJCSC is crucial to supporting stakeholders in achieving carbon neutrality. The primary barriers to implementing resilient net zero carbon supply chain initiatives were recognized by reviewing the literature and expert opinions. Fuzzy AHP approach is used for understanding the most significant barrier. From the results of the fuzzy AHP approach, “Reluctance of managing authorities” was identified as the main barrier having the maximum weight. Barrier “Unavailability of suppliers” obtained the minimum weight. The study’s findings can assist managers in their implementation of strategies aimed at achieving a NZCSC.
