To successfully navigate this transformation, companies need to effectively mobilize their human capital, as they play a vital role in the success of the organization. This study explores the role of HR in creating a sustainable focus in human capital and for organizations is moved to its value of zero. Through a comprehensive review of existing literature, this study aims to demonstrate the observable impact of effective HR practices in reducing an organization’s carbon footprint. In addition, this study discusses the challenges of green HRM, limitations of the role of HR in net zero policyNet zero policy and future recommendations.
