Impact of Graphene Quantum Dots as Catalyst
摘要
The formation of van der Waals heterojunctions between 2D materials, electronic coupling, a lowered energy barrier, intimate charge transfer, and efficient exciton separation at the atomically sharp interface enable sympathetic the fundamental catalytic mechanism of GQDs in a variety of applications. The synthesis, modification, and application of heterogeneous catalysts based on GQDs for general water splitting, as photocatalysts, hydrogen evolution reactions (HER), oxygen evolution reactions (OER), acid production from CO2, and H2 production, and applications are discussed in this chapter.
