Land is a limited resource that drives the development. The registration process of land ensures the proper recording of its details and ownership. Recently, there have been some attempts at digitalization of the land records. This paper presents the details of our proposed blockchain-based information system for land registration in India. The details of our implementation are also included. The work is in accordance with Torrens system and at the same time incorporates both mortgage and legal aspects from an Indian perspective.
