摘要
Correct positioning of patient and accurate placement of ports are essential steps for TREAT. The margin of error in TREAT is low due to the small size of the patient. Incorrectly placed patient or inaccurately placed port will decrease this margin of error, and there will be higher chances of conversion to open. A good position and accurately placed ports are half the battle won. This chapter aims to describe how to correctly place the neonate on operation table for TREAT. Port placement position is accurately described in relation to anatomical surface landmarks. Correctly placed ports will give maximal mechanical advantage to the surgeon with better efficiency.
