Feasibility Analysis of GGDP System Based on Climate Impact Assessment Model

As the core indicator for measuring development, the concept of GDP is also constantly evolving. Green GDP (GGDP), as a measure of development that considers its impact on the future is getting more and more attention. It is important to come up with a scientific and recognized standard for the evaluation of GGDP. Based on the System of Environmental-Economic Accounting Frame (SEEA), the green accounting component of the GGDP is divided into nine indicators in three dimensions. In order to improve the applicability of the framework, the economic structure of each country is taken into account. Furthermore, the Climate Impact Assessment Model (CIA model) is established and the impact of adopting GGDP on climate mitigation is discussed. The nine indicators derived in the previous problem are linearly transformed into four indices relevant for climate impact assessment (TPI, PPI, DPI, EPI). Considering the correlation between the indices, the interactions of the four climate indices are characterized based on the Multivariate Lanchester Equation. Based on the above model, the long-term development of GDP and GGDP is predicted based on the damped Holt model and take a t-test to determine whether the potential drawbacks from adopting the GGDP indicator are in a reasonable range. Finally, an acceptance test is conducted for GGDP in 50 countries with different confidence levels and found that more than 90% of countries were suitable to accept the GGDP system, which proves that this model is universal and effective.
