The Structural Responses of Offshore Wind Power Foundation Under Various Loadings

  • Tian Xie

摘要

In 2021, China has set the goal of CO2 reduction targets and stimulated renewable energy production, one of the most productive products is offshore wind energy. With the increasing size and weight of the facility of offshore wind power, a more solid and durable base is needed. Meanwhile, a growing number of offshore wind power will be installed in the deep sea to generate power more efficiently, more than 100 gigawatts of offshore wind power will be constructed in the next five years. The objective of this research is to investigate the availabilities of offshore wind power in the deep sea (more than 100 m). More specifically, structural responses under various static and dynamic loadings will be obtained and analyzed using finite element analysis—Abaqus. Different distresses will be simulated to evaluate the performance of offshore wind power and the suggested guidelines will be proposed at the end of this paper. In the end, data from Abaqus will be used to fit the machine learning model.
