摘要
The 4f-4f luminescence of lanthanide ions creates characteristic photofunctional properties for future industrial applications. In this book, their photophysical processes and light wavelength conversion properties of luminescent lanthanide coordination compounds are reviewed. The emission process of Ln(III) coordination compounds can be controlled by the organic ligand design. In the section on photoluminescence and energy transfer, lanthanide molecular designs for bright luminescence and photofunctional properties are introduced with scientific reports. Among them, the contribution of charge transfer band in lanthanide coordination compounds is focused, recently.
