摘要

The energy transfer in excited state of lanthanide coordination compounds is here explained. The typical energy transfer between 4f-4f excited states and excited triplet state of the organic ligand is named as photosensitized energy transfer, which is important for preparation of bright luminescent lanthanide materials. The relaxation process under energy transfer, the back energy transfer, charge-transfer-assisted energy transfer, and the excited state equilibrium are also introduced. The Ln(III)-to-Ln(III) energy transfer process should be considered using activation energy in energy transfer via organic ligands. The energy transfer processes are significantly considered pathway for construction of bright luminescent and photofunctional materials.
