Traditional power plant operation and inspection relies on simplistic repeated inspection rounds, and relies on expert experience to carry out equipment servicing decision-making, which suffers from problems such as limited forms of inspection, difficulties with safety control, serious data islands, and pervasive unnecessary repair or inexpert repair. With the technological progress of big-data and artificial intelligence, it has become possible to improve the level of smart of equipment operation and inspection and realize intelligent equipment operation and inspection. In recent years, the Dadu River Company carried out exploration in digital, smart, and intelligent equipment operation control, status monitoring, emergency handling, fault diagnosis, and other constituent functions, which greatly raised the efficiency of operation and inspection, and improved equipment operation reliability.
