Design and Development of Vaccine Container Applied in Vietnam

摘要

Vaccine plays an important role in the prevention of diseases. However, However, there are still many cases of children in Vietnam having anaphylactic shock after injected vaccines. One of the reasons may be due to the current vaccine transportation and storage process. For transportation in Vietnam, common options are to use ice boxes to store the vaccine and then transport the vaccine. This does not meet the requirements for vaccine storage. Therefore, in this study, a mobile vaccine container was completely designed and manufactured to ensure that the temperature of the container is maintained and temperature data is stored throughout the transportation process. The prototype mobile vaccine container has a capacity of 6 L and is designed using two thermoelectric coolers, allowing it to maintain a stable storage temperature of 4 °C, guaranteed to be within the range of 2 to 8 ° according to silver standards., ensuring the storage temperature of many vaccines. In the future, the product will be completely upgraded towards mass production, serving to create a “make in Vietnam” product to ensure the process of transporting vaccines to hospitals in Vietnam.
