Enhancing Security for Private Cloud When Deployed at Small Department

Today, with the strong development of information and communication technology, the Virtualization and Cloud computing platforms have developed rapidly. These platform allows us to manage workloads by transforming traditional desktops into a more modern, scalable and efficient platform that is more economical. Along with these, the issue of ensuring the security of the Cloud Computing system becomes more and more urgent. In this article, we present the implementation of the cloud computing solution Apache Cloudstack combined with the Kernel Virtual Machine virtualization platform to set up a private cloud at a small and medium department. We also present the application of some solutions to improve the efficiency of system security. Implementation practice shows that for small and medium-sized department, the deployment of a secure private cloud has helped improve work efficiency as well as ensure safety and security for employees while working.
