Integrating Blockchain and RSA-Encrypted NFTs for Enhanced Digital Knowledge Management

This paper presents a comprehensive system for knowledge management that integrates blockchain technology, RSA-encrypted Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs), the InterPlanetary File System (IPFS), and smart contracts. The objective is to enhance the security, authenticity, and efficiency of managing digital knowledge assets. We explore the use of RSA encryption to secure shared knowledge within NFTs and the application of smart contracts for decentralized governance of knowledge. The transparency of blockchain is utilized to ensure the integrity of records, addressing challenges such as the reproducibility crisis in scientific research. Through practical experiments and performance analysis across various blockchain platforms, the paper evaluates the efficiency of the RSA encryption and decryption processes and the system’s overall efficacy in real-world applications.
