Research on Node Cluster Analysis in Brain Connection Data

The human brain is the most complex system in the human body, and understanding and treating brain-related diseases has always been a challenge for medical professionals. Recent research suggests that attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) may be related to regional connections in the structure of brain networks. To investigate this problem, we perform cluster analysis on 116 regional nodes using AAL template. Through the comparative analysis of multiple cluster experiments, we observed the similarities and differences of cluster data between ADHD patients and normal people. The general distribution and partial values of ADHD data were similar to normal data, indicating that the average activity levels of ADHD patients and normal people in some brain nodes were similar. The difference is that the change of normal data fluctuates greatly, and the performance of ADHD data is more concentrated. The study provides insights into the structure of brain networks and their relationship to ADHD. Further research is needed to fully understand the specific implications and potential treatments based on these findings.
