Zunna

The connectivity of devices has increased over the last few decades, and millions of connected devices have enabled people to connect easily to the internet. Internet browsers come bundled in many devices ready for use. While these browsers increase usability, they also allow the collection of vast amounts of data without the user’s knowledge introducing serious threats to the privacy and confidentiality of the users. This paper discusses the Zunna browser extension, which was designed with the security of personal data in mind. Zunna enables safe website checking and reduces the risks from web-based attacks such as clickjacking and cross-site scripting. Zunna browser also provides the potential to block advertisements and other features such as password suggestions.
