摘要

The United Nations has given new leaves of life to NGOs. They become a part of the UN system, and the NGOs are accorded with the consultative status. They have embraced spirit and principles of the United Nations in their worldwide mission. NGOs can seek consultative status through NGOs committee and procedures lay down by the ECOSOC.
