Legal Personality

Legal personality of NGOs has been evolving since the beginning of twentieth century. The sources of legal personality of NGOs are sum of theoretical discourse; state practices; NGOs participation with other international actors; their role in creation development and enforcement of international law. Legal personality of NGO is very important because it is endowed with rights, duties and capabilities in international law, that gives NGOs legal identity, capacity to bring claim before adjudicating fora and to seek facility and protection for their mission.
