NGOs are engaged in the creation, development and enforcement of international law. International peace was one of the issue areas undertaken early by NGOs and further carried out in the years to come. NGOs also engaged in humanitarian action in conflict zones and work out supportive system for the survivors. NGOs protect human rights and provided health care in the time of crisis. In addition, they initiate dialogue between conflicting parties for amicable resolutions. Thus, NGOs and their coalitions role have been appreciated by the international community, and some of them were endowed with Nobel Peace Prize.
