Protection of the Environment

NGOs raise the issue of environment in the beginning of twentieth century when World Life International, an NGO was founded in 1922. Since then they engaged in the conservation of nature; protection of atmosphere; marine life; and from nuclear risk. Even recently Friday Future NGO (2018) was established. There are plethora of international environment agreements. NGOs are consistently fighting against environment pollution, depletion of natural resources and climate change. All NGOs want sustainable development.
