Hybrid Additive Manufacturing of Ti6Al4V Parts: A Comprehensive Study for Biomedical Applications
摘要
Titanium alloys have emerged as one of the most crucial modern materials for their superior performance in aerospace and earthly systems. They possess a perfect combination of characteristics, such as a high strength-to-weight ratio, excellent corrosion resistance, and biocompatibility. However, its widespread use is limited by its higher cost of production than any other elements, which is attributed to its high affinity toward oxygen, carbon, hydrogen, and nitrogen at higher temperatures.
