Linking Green Organizational Identity and Employee Pro-Environmental Behaviors: The Role of Green Shared Vision
摘要
This research sought to ecamine how Green Organizational Identity (GOI) influences the encouragement of Pro-Environmental Behaviors, specifically by assessing the influence of GOI on employees' green performance behaviors, with Green Shared Vision as a mediating factor. The research involved 696 employees from a hospital in Vietnam and employed a cross‐sectional research design. The study utilized hierarchical regression analysis to test the proposed research model. The findings revealed that GOI significantly predicted Pro-Environmental Behaviors, and Green Shared Vision played a significant mediating role in this relationship. However, gender and environmental values were not found to moderate the association between GOI and Pro-Environmental Behaviors. These results underscore the crucial role of GOI in advancing environmental sustainability and highlight the pressing need to integrate sustainability principles into management systems to support the achievement of sustainable development goals.
