The Impact of Co-innovation and Big Data Analytics Capability on Organizational Resilience: Evidence from Oman SMEs

摘要

Several multinationals to small and medium enterprises (SMEs) are discovering effective ways to attain business growth with the use of several aspects of big data analytics capability and co-innovation. This paper aims to improve the SMEs’ ability to develop organizational resilience in admits of market turmoil by seeking an answer to a research statement on how SMEs can preserve business stability via big data analytics capability and co-innovation. A quantitative approach is used, and regression analysis is conducted to examine the relationships between big data analytics capability, co-innovation, and organizational resilience in the context of Oman SMEs. The study results indicated that big data analytics capability and co-innovation have a significant association with organizational resilience. Additionally, the investigation conferred the mediating effect of co-innovation on the association between big data analytics capability and organizational resilience. This paper provides essential implications that co-innovation is a feasible strategy, particularly during business turbulence, and indicates how SMEs can recognize new business opportunities.
