Spatial Equity—China’s Distinctive Approach to Resource Allocation and Income Distribution at the Grassroots Level

Ever since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, our nation has embarked upon a strategic transformation towards an era of ecological civilization. The 19th National Congress of the CPC introduced the “Rural Revitalization” strategy, emphasizing the need to establish a grassroots governance system that combines autonomy, rule of law, and moral governance. The Fourth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee further stressed the importance of “adhering to and improving the system of ecological civilization.” In the midst of the profound integration of urban and rural areas, it becomes imperative to lead the way while also exploring innovative approaches.
