A Novel Explore—Harvest Monte Carlo Algorithm for Dynamic Reconfiguring PV Array-Based Electric Vehicles

The globe is currently experiencing a serious energy crisis in all sectors, but the energy constraint is most acute in the auto mobility sector for fossil fuel-powered automobiles. This energy problem will be significantly alleviated by the current trend of electric vehicle reintroductions to the market, which will also assist to cut carbon emissions. There is a lot of research carried out to increase the efficiency and mileage of electric vehicles. Mounting a photovoltaic array to a moving vehicle may be a practical way to both assist in propulsion and completely utilize solar energy when driving throughout the day. This technique will work best when applied to larger vehicles with more surface area, including buses, trams, cruise ships, low altitude aircrafts, etc. A proposal is made for the dynamic reconfiguration of a photovoltaic array mounted on a moving vehicle under partial shading conditions, utilizing a fast and efficient novel algorithm.
