Synthesis, Characterization and Solar Cell Properties of Polyaniline Nanocomposites
摘要
Polyaniline and nanocomposite are synthesized via chemical oxidative polymerization technique. Hydrothermal method is opted for the synthesis of zinc oxide nanoparticles and used as reinforcement for the synthesis of polyaniline/zinc oxide nanocomposites. Shifting of XRD peaks and enhancement in peak intensity is referred to the structural variation associated with composite formation. Morphology changes observed in SEM and TEM images confirm composite formation. Improved UV absorption is observed in polyaniline/zinc oxide nanocomposites compared to polymer matrix and metal oxide filler. Solar cell device fabricated by coating PANI layer showed a power conversion efficiency of 0.34%. It is increased to 3.021% in the case of composite deposited device.
