Ethical and Legal Issues for Mental Health Professionals Working With Court-Involved Families

There is general agreement that clinicians who work with families who are involved in court matters need to meet a range of standards in addition to being skilled clinicians as additional legal and ethical standards apply in court work. This chapter summarises legal and ethical issues that must be addressed by clinicians who work with court-involved families.
