Internet of Things (IoT) has evolved over years and has proven to be reliable making it a viable choice for multi-disciplinary applications. IoT led to the development of numerous smart applications. The low cost and less implementation overhead in IoT have made it a feasible solution for application in many fields. Convolutional neural network (CNN) is very extensively utilized in research and industries. Several computer vision applications have employed CNN for image, face, and object classification and recognition. High performance is required by IoT application using CNN due to its rigorous computation involving billions of operations over an input. Modern-day businesses have been touched by the strong waves of technology over the past few years and there is no denying that the IoT is one such technology that has transformed a lot of business into making them successful by optimizing their operations, upgrading products, empowering employees, encouraging customers, and so on. It is essential to understand IoT-based CNN to adopt and apply in business models to harness its true potential.
