Radiopharmaceuticals for Prostate Cancer Management

Usage of various radioactive material referred as radiopharmaceutical for diagnosing and treating multiple diseases have become very popular in the recent times. These radiopharmaceuticals are administered inside the body through different routes like intravenous, oral, etc. Some time is allowed till the radiopharmaceutical reaches the target site. Initially it was used for treatment of castrate resistant prostate cancer but with good results, focus is on the use in metastatic and locally advanced cancer prostate.
