Spatial Distribution and Quality Evaluation of Marine Sediment in Penglai Oilfields
摘要
This paper investigated and evaluated the quality of marine sediment in the sea area of Penglai oilfields. According to the investigation results in September 2021, there are three types of sediment in the sea area of Penglai oilfields and fine sand is the main sediment type. Hakanson’s single factor index method is applied to evaluate the sediment quality. The standard indexes of petroleum, copper, lead, zinc, cadmium, chromium, mercury, arsenic, sulfide, and organic carbon at each investigation station are all less than 1 and the factors present different spatial distribution characteristics. Comparative analysis results show that the factors have varying degrees of increase or decrease relative to historical results and there is no significant change in sediment quality in the surveyed sea area compared to historical results. The environmental quality of sediment is good in the sea area of Penglai oilfields. Subsequent investigations will continue to be conducted around the Penglai oilfields.
