摘要

The Port of Qingdao, as an important junction of China's “One Belt, One Road” policy and the biggest container port within Northeast Asia, is under consideration and selection from various innovative port management systems in the 21st century which is full of opportunities and challenges. Based on the improved AHP model, this paper has investigated the growth competitiveness of the Qingdao port under the current management system by taking the throughput and other factors of the containers into account. The secondary indicators according to each indicator are analyzed again after the main indicators have been constructed. The calculation results indicate that the port facilitation is important in terms of the port scale index. The growth rate of cargo throughput is more significant in the port development index. Decision flexibility gives more weight to the indicator of port management capability. The current economic growth in Shandong Province strongly relies on regional resources and policy support. After combining the first- and second-level indicators, the conclusions and concerns are made.
