This paper presents a particle swarm optimization (PSO)-based tuning of proportional-integral (PI) controller for controlling the frequency of AC microgrid (MG). The gains of the PI controller are tuned with the help of the PSO algorithm. To assess the performance of the controller design, a microgrid (MG) configuration is selected for this paper. In this research, the integral square error of the frequency deviation is considered to be the main objective. Furthermore, the outcomes achieved by the developed controller are compared with those obtained using optimization algorithms.

摘要
