摘要

This chapter presents the applications of adaptive impedance converters for interlinking the AC and DC microgrids to transfer power and regulate power quality. To avoid the increase of the power switch capacity, control complexity, and cost, a hybrid coupled interlinking converter (HCIC) is proposed for the hybrid AC/LVDC microgrid. Since the conventional PQ control cannot affect the system voltage and frequency and practical over-capacity situation may be more likely to occur in HCIC, a new droop control method and a selective power droop control method for the HCIC is proposed in the hybrid AC/LVDC microgrid applications, respectively to regulate active/reactive powers as well as improve power quality. Moreover, a centralized adaptive impedance converter-based three-port power hub and its control are proposed for the dedicated loads in bidirectional or unidirectional, and at the same time, isolate the power quality problems generated by the three-phase grid side and single-phase AC grid side, which is proposed for remote area power supply.
