Adaptive Impedance Converters for Power Quality Compensation
摘要
This chapter presents the applications of adaptive impedance converters in distribution systems for power quality compensation, including the related adaptive hybrid static synchronous compensator and adaptive hybrid active filter from the aspects of topology structure, characteristic analysis, parameter design, control system, and experimental verifications. This chapter provides different compensation topologies composed of adaptive coupling impedance-connected converters in different connected methods. The adaptive passive coupling impedance is used to provide dynamic reactive power effectively and reduce the converter’s DC side voltage, thereby significantly reducing the number of switches/voltage resistance and breaking through the bottleneck of low efficiency and low reliability of large-capacity converters.
