Stakeholders Integration to Ensure Efficiency of Life Cycle Connected Construction for Roof System Decision

A life cycle-connected approach can yield significant economic, environmental, and social benefits. Potential to generate additional Indonesian GDP of up to 43 billion USD in 2030, reduce waste per sector by 18% to 52% in 2030 and create 4.4 million new jobs in 2030. One sector that has potential is the construction industry. The approach integrates processes and products from design to execution of construction to the management of buildings, properties, and assets. With the characteristics of construction fragmentation, the whole integration of connected construction will be required to ensure efficiency. Decision-making for the approach involves many stakeholders in selecting alternatives, so negotiation is needed to evaluate the solution. Satisficing-based AHP is applied for the decision methodology. It consists of function and life cycle cost analysis as the basis of satisficing options. The result shows that each stakeholder has their own decision. Future research is to develop a negotiation algorithm to get the best-fit option to satisfy all stakeholders.
