Multiplicative Ideal Theory over Integral Domains

Classical ideal theory draws heavily on the contributions of Dedekind, Krull, Noether, Prüfer, and other scholars, as summarized in [101]. Within multiplicative ideal theory, many results are framed through the unified approach of star operation theory, which we will introduce in this chapter. To extend star operation theory to the category of modules, our discussion will primarily focus on the w-operation.
