Spiking Neural P Systems and Variants
摘要
Spiking neural P systems are a class of neural-like membrane computing models, abstracted from the phenomenon of emitting spikes in biological neurons. This chapter first reviews basic spiking neural P systems and then introduces eight variants as theoretical computing models. These variants are abstracted from various biological phenomena and mechanisms. For each of them, its definition is first given and its working mechanism is explained, and then an illustrative example is provided.
