摘要

Nanotechnology’s clinical applications are gaining popularity, especially as a potential therapy method for infectious disorders. Multiple drug-resistant microbes (MDROs) are a worldwide concern for the occurrence of diseases leading to illness and death. The rise in illnesses brought on by resistance to antibiotics bacterial strains has increased the need for investigating and creating new bactericidal medications or unconventional approaches that can effectively address antimicrobial resistance. Nanomaterial-based therapies show great potential in addressing severe bacterial infections by circumventing resistance to antibiotic pathways. Strategies based on nanomaterials, particularly those that do not depend on tiny-molecule antibiotics, exhibit promise as they circumvent drug-resistant bacterial mechanisms. Nps, also known as Nanoparticles, possess a size that allows them to traverse the membranes of cells of harmful bacteria and disrupt crucial molecular pathways. In addition, they can specifically target biofilms and eradicate infections that have demonstrated resistance to conventional treatment methods.
