Introduction

With the rapid development of modern science and technology, industries such as machinery, electronics, aerospace, and chemistry, especially the defense industry, have demanded that cutting-edge scientific and technological products develop towards high precision, high speed, high power, and miniaturization. This chapter introduces the background and core idea of the energy-assisted cutting technology of aerospace difficult-to-cut alloy materials. In addition, the structure of this book is also introduced in this chapter. After the introduction section, Chap. 2 subsequently discussed the laser-assisted cutting technology. Chapter 3 presented the ultrasonic vibration-assisted machining technology. Chapter 4 shown the the electrical-assisted machining technology. Chapter 5 reported the enhanced heat transfer technology of sustainable machining. Chapter 6 revealed the hybrid energies-assisted cutting technology.
