Considerable research has been devoted to critical Ni-based materials to enhance the performance of supercapacitors, as seen in Fig. 2.1. The current progress is introduced with a discussion of significant outcomes that provide support for the objectives of the proposed effort. Su et al. designed a Ni(OH)2@Ni core–shell electrode with a Cs of 2454 F/g at 5 A/g current density and excellent cycling stability 11 for high-performance and flexible SC.
