摘要

Osteonecrosis of the femoral head (ONFH) is a condition in which part of the femoral head becomes necrotic due to a disruption of the blood supply [1–3]. The necrosis usually involves the weight-bearing dome of the femoral head and eventually leads to secondary arthritis of the hip. Risk factors for ONFH include the use of corticosteroids, alcohol abuse, smocking, sickle cell disease, systemic lupus erythematosus, organ transplantation, human immunodeficiency virus infection, coagulopathies, hypofibrinolysis, Caisson disease, myeloproliferative diseases, and radiation [4–6].
