The report discusses the existing problems with traditional attendance tracking methods and proposes an innovative solution to streamline the process using Java programming. The study also details the results and outputs of the system and concludes with findings on the effectiveness of the system and suggests future scope for further improvement. Traditional student attendance tracking systems often rely on manual methods such as paper registers or manual entry into electronic systems. These methods are prone to human error, time-consuming, and lack real-time data availability. This study involves students involved in using QR code technology and designing using the Java programming language. Java was chosen as the programming language because it is platform-independent, powerful, and widely used in education and business. The main elements of the system are implemented in Java, ensuring compatibility and easy integration with various devices. The system completely automates attendance tracking and gives teachers and administrators instant access to data. Generates detailed attendance reports that make it easy to track student attendance. The study includes a quantitative analysis of the accuracy, efficiency, and user satisfaction of the system and highlights its advantages. Students came together to solve the problem of attendance tracking using QR code technology and Java programs. It provides a reliable and cost-effective way of tracking student attendance, reducing human error and simplifying attendance tracking. The results show that this system is a suitable alternative to the manual. In conclusion, improving student attendance based on QR code in Java should change the way of attendance by providing a good solution, reliability, and technology that meets the changing needs of schools and businesses.
