摘要

The research focuses on the role of government laws on Malaysian manufacturing SMEs in their transition to fourth industrial revolution, i.e., Industry4.0. The study proposes that the government regulations have positive influence on management commitment as well as employee skills especially in SME sector given their lack of resources for employee training and top management lack of knowledge in the field of Industry4.0. A pilot study will be conducted for the paper based on quantitative technique. Data will be collected from the SME in the manufacturing sector, and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) techniques will be used for analysis. The study tends to use R language and SmartPLS for data analysis.
