E-Learning: Understanding the Forces Shaping Its Adoption in the Post-COVID Era

The rapid expansion of e-learning has significantly transformed traditional instructional approaches in both educational and corporate settings. The necessity of students engaging in e-learning has grown over the past years. However, the pandemic further increased this transition, as students worldwide were compelled to shift from offline to online classes. The central focus of this research is to identify the determinants of the successful execution of online learning during the pandemic, particularly among students enrolled in various universities. The study looks into the relation between students’ interest in computers and their familiarity with online platforms, furthermore the extent to which they have availability to necessary technology during online classes. A self-structured closed questionnaire at a 7-point Likert scale had been used for the collection of data from the samples of 214 students from various universities which adopted online learning. The research’s findings and conclusions are intended to offer insightful information to educational institutions and policymakers, enabling them to boost the effectiveness of E-learning and take it to the next level.
