Decision Making in Social Systems
摘要
Everyone is decision maker who interacts with other decision makers in an interactive situation. In a social system, everyone has their own interest which is called as a purposeful. It is a very important concept to understand human behavior. Purposeful encourages people to carry out a transformation in situations that are considered problematic. In a problematic situation, problems are often not easy to understand at first, because there are many issues that are interrelated, thus forming a structure. Decision making develops various tools to help creatively explore problems and emphasizes the importance of decision makers consciously defining the problem. In a dynamic situation, problems also often change. Problems that arise as a result of our previous solutions, of course, require different solutions than before. Often, we need a higher level of thinking than before. This critical attitude is what is needed when facing complex problems in decision making. This part of this chapter will discuss what decision making is and various examples of tools in decision making, especially to illustrate that tools are designed according to the level of thinking. Also, we will discuss the various complexities of the decision-making context and provide an example of how decision making needs to be adapted to the context for cases in the agricultural sector.
