Accessibility to Social Safety Program: In an Intersectional Lens and Human Rights Perspective

This chapter seeks to evaluate the accessibility to social security from an intersectional lens. Accessibility to SSNP has been defined elaborately in this book as information accessibility, participation in the program, and access to the payment of the benefit of the Allowances Program of Insolvent Persons with Disabilities. This chapter presents the impact of intersectional identities (gender, disability, financial insolvency) in accessibility to information, participation, and accessibility to the benefit of the program in rural Bangladesh. This chapter presents some case story, quantitative data tables along with qualitative data.
