Accessibility by Women with Disabilities and Right to Social Safety Net: Theoretical Foundation and Analyzing Gaps in Existing Literatures

This chapter aims to develop the theoretical foundation of the study. Hence, it highlights over some prominent theories associated with the field of social security and gender studies. Apart from that, this chapter has reviewed the extensive literatures on social protection and identified potential gaps within the existing literatures and to address these identified limitations, the current study has been conducted. At the end of the chapter, a conceptual framework is presented which will serve as theoretical underpinning in the subsequent chapters.
