Glans-Preserving Technique for Meatal Stenosis and Glandular Urethral Strictures (Extending in the Distal Penile Urethra)
摘要
The repair of distal penile urethral strictures involving the glans and/or fossa navicularis is challenging. Functional urethral patency allowing for optimal urinary flow is crucial; however, the functional and esthetic aspects of the glans are important as well [1]. Since most techniques involve opening of the glans, glans dehiscence, urethrocutaneous fistula, and/or poor glans cosmesis may occur [2].
