Dorsal Onlay Bulbar Urethroplasty
摘要
Dorsal onlay urethroplasty can treat all variations of anterior urethral strictures [1–4]. For the open surgical treatment of long (>3 cm) bulbar strictures, augmenting urethroplasty with oral mucosa graft is the standard of care. [1, 3, 4] The options include dorsal (or dorsolateral) onlay, dorsal inlay, or ventral onlay, with equal success rates of >90% in the short term and >80% in the long term [1–3]. No randomized controlled trials have been published yet, and the choice is usually done by “expert opinion” and preferred method. [3] However, some consensus on the indications of the different methods exists. [4]
