The Influence of University Yoga Course Based on VR Technology on University Students’ Physical Fitness and Special Sports Skills

In order to promote the application of virtual reality (VR) technology in university students’ physical education and sports training, and assist the innovation of yoga courses in universities, this article puts forward a VR 3D scene simplification algorithm based on photon mapping and evaluates its influence on university students’ physical fitness and special sports skills. The algorithm in this article adopts the method based on 3D reconstruction, which can reconstruct the 3D scene of yoga movements. This method takes into account the spatial characteristics of the scene and makes the modeling results more realistic and stereoscopic. The test and analysis of the algorithm show that the algorithm can be applied to the simplification of the 3D model of a yoga scene and some real-time interactive systems. With the support of VR technology, the roaming and information interaction of yoga special sports skill training scenes are realized. By analyzing and comparing users’ ratings, it is found that most university students say that the yoga VR system can help improve their physical fitness and yoga skills. The yoga VR system designed by this algorithm can be recognized and praised by the target users, which further verifies the effectiveness of the algorithm and system design.
